This foundation has been established in the spirit and memory of the founder of simonsen a/s, Jorgen Simonsen, who passed away on June 9, 2011. Jorgen Simonsen had a very strong affection and interest in nature and wildlife which is very clear from the abundance of beautiful pictures all taken by himself – he was an avid amateur photographer.
